David's job at Westwinds is to teach, preach and cast vision...or, as some of our folks like to say, "he brings the heavy."

He and his wife, Carmel (not 'Car-a-mel' and certainly not 'Camel,' though she's been erroneously called both since moving to Michigan) imported from the Great White North in 2005 and have been living in Jacktown ever since.

They have two micronauts in their brood (Jacob and Anna) and a giant dog (Grand Master Flash ChristmasTree McDonald or simply Flash) that is part Bernese Mountain Dog and part Werewolf (Jake is pretty scared of the dog, but Anna rides him around the yard like she's She Ra on Swift Wind).

Dave has some education in his background (both as a student, and as an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities) and used to be an athlete, playing collegiate Rugby. Now he just talks about rugby while doing absolutely nothing requiring any athleticism whatsoever. He likes science-fiction, escapism, and Pearl Jam. He reads everything, but especially the super-brainy theological stuff...and, of course, comics.  David is a writer, an artist, a traveler, a photographer, a thinker, a dreamer, and an iconoclast.
