In this Mother's Day teaching, we recognize the personal sacrifice of moms who have given up careers, finances, and personal identity.

We recognize those who have lost or can’t have babies and the challenges of grief in what is still a patriarchal society.

We recognize women who do not want to become mothers because they want something else

We recognize moms fighting to discover or rediscover their identity that includes but is certainly not defined entirely by motherhood.

May Westwinds be an ally for women in the way and name of Jesus.
