When Grace Feels Unfair

Most of us know the story of Jonah.... A prophet. A storm. A giant fish. A city called Nineveh.

But beneath the familiar story is a question that feels just as uncomfortable today as it did thousands of years ago: What do we do when God’s mercy reaches people we don’t think deserve it?

This week, we looked beyond the whale and into Jonah’s heart. It’s a story about running from God, wrestling with our own anger, and discovering that the hardest part of following Jesus might not be receiving grace—but extending it.

Because the real question isn’t whether God loves our enemies.

It’s whether we’re willing to let him.
