Spy Wednesday

In observance of the fourth day of Holy Week, we invited people to a church service modeled after a garden party.

What did the people there come to understand?

“It was awesome to get to know new people”

“I learned to rejoice in the opportunity to forgive”

Spy Wednesday is the day that Judas chose to betray Jesus. We reflected on betrayal and forgiveness in Jesus’ life. We reflected on betrayal and forgiveness in our own lives. Jesus loved Judas, even though he knew he would be hurt by him. God loves us, even after we’ve hurt and been hurt.
