Sharing Our Resources
Sharing Our Resources
One of the Practices That Helps Us Center Jesus
The story of God is a story of generosity—from creation (Genesis 1), to the cross (John 3), to Jesus sending out his disciples with nothing but trust (Matthew 10).
We practice generosity not out of guilt, and not out of obligation—
but to center our lives in the generosity of Jesus.
We share what we have— to loosen our grip on money, time, and control— and to loosen their grip on us. Because we know how quickly those things shape what we value, how we live, and who we trust.
Jesus teaches a different way.
A way of open hands.
A way of enough.
A way of generosity that breaks the power of scarcity and fear.
We’re honest about this: yes, giving funds the church.
Ministry requires real resources.
But giving isn’t about funding an institution—it’s about forming a people.
It’s about shaping a church that can live into what God is calling us to do—together.
Every act of generosity is a small act of resistance.
And a declaration of trust.
We give to center ourselves in something bigger than consumption or survival.
We give to join in what Jesus is doing—to heal, to build, to bless.
